Current Cleaning Positions Available:

  • Part-time Evening Janitorial/Cleaning Lacey, WA - 2 to 3-hour shift Monday through Friday, 5 days a week, starting after 6 pm. $18.00/hour.

Who We're Looking For

This is not an entry-level position. We're hiring an experienced cleaner who already knows the work and can hit the ground running.

Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of commercial or janitorial cleaning experience (office buildings, medical/dental offices, schools, or similar). Residential-only house cleaning experience will not be considered on its own.

  • Highly reliable and dependable — you show up, on time, every scheduled night

  • Available to start quickly

  • Comfortable working alone and as part of a team

  • Quick learner who can work efficiently without sacrificing quality

  • Reliable transportation to drive to assigned work locations

  • Able to pass a background check and pre-employment screening

  • 21 years of age or older

  • Comfortable using a smartphone app for clock-in/out, task checklists, and photo documentation (we use Swept — we'll train you)

What You'll Do:

  • Unlock and disarm the building at the start of your shift; lock up and set the alarm at the end of the night

  • Empty all trash and recycling, and transport it to the dumpster

  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms — toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, floors — and restock all paper and soap supplies

  • Vacuum carpeted areas thoroughly, including edges and under furniture

  • Sweep, dust mop, and wet mop all hard-surface floors

  • Perform low and high dusting (surfaces, ledges, vents, blinds, corners)

  • Clean and disinfect high-touch points: door handles, light switches, counters, breakroom surfaces

  • Follow the building-specific checklist for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks

  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely and at correct dilution

  • Report supply needs, maintenance issues, or building problems to your supervisor

  • Protect client keys, codes, and confidentiality at all times

Physical Requirements:

This is physical work. You should be in good physical condition and able to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and push/pull for the length of your shift

  • Lift and carry up to 40 lbs (trash bags, supplies, equipment)

  • Push vacuums, mop buckets, and janitorial carts

  • Work independently in a building after hours.
